Sumo Squats

Sumo squats are a lower-body strength exercise that places greater emphasis on the inner thighs and glutes compared to traditional squats. Performed with a wider-than-shoulder stance and toes pointed slightly outward, this movement targets the quads, glutes, hamstrings, and especially the inner thighs. Sumo squats are excellent for improving hip mobility, lower-body muscle definition, and core engagement. They can be performed with bodyweight or added resistance for increased challenge.
